Hello..well we skipped a year!

Oh, Hi, it's 2021... I guess we skipped one whole year, but to be honest, no one is counting that year. So, where should we start?

A minor life update in 2020 march, I decided to come back to India to spend time with the family and determine what's next for me? But as we all know, the only next thing was a LOCKDOWN.

2020 went by chilling at home, working on multiple freelance projects, reading books and learning how to cook. All seems productive and fun. It was really lovely to stay at home and be with the family...but all good things have a weird ending. It all became too much for me because I was living in my own space for the last two years and suddenly coming home was a drastic change for me.

I thrived through the change, and we moved past it with time, then we entered 2021. So let me say the real shit has just started...

I welcomed a new year with migraines and lots of moodiness, stress, etc., but the real challenge has just started because I realised something about my mental health.

Months passed away...I started therapy and got diagnosed with depression which was not a shock to me. As I continued my treatment, I started opening few pandora boxes of my life, which I deliberately closed when I was a kid for obvious reasons.

In mid-April, my whole family contracted COVID-19; I mean, life was throwing curveballs at me from all ends. It left a lot of physical and mental stress, which I am still dealing with.

As we approached the month of May, the most devasting news came knocking on our door. I lost my grandmother, which is something I am not ready to talk about yet. (I stopped therapy too)

With so much going on, I am applying for jobs daily as my only aim is to move back to London, and you wonder why? Because there's a lot more to explore, and my productivity level is at best with the British working culture.

I did my best internships and learned so much in 2 years, which is crazy so imagine when I get a job and move back, the level of learning increases, and networking is unimaginable there.

So here is the long chatty life update and a simple request if you are reading this, leave a comment from which country you are reading and how was your 2020?

ALSO, if you work or own a creative /publishing/media agency, Let's have a chat over zoom?

See you later!!

Lots of Love

Shridula
